OVID

Ovid is a Brooklyn-based Korean-Latino Producer/DJ originally from the DC Metro area, who has been making electronic music for over 10 years. Having always been attracted to all things percussive-focused, recent years lead him to discover the Hard Drum sound originally borne out of Bristol in the UK, which he now proudly considers one of the core facets of his own sound.

He is affiliated with, and has released music through the Irish Hard Drum label FLOOD, as well as the Brooklyn-based Production House Loosee. DJ sets involve a blend of all things percussive, from UK Funky to drum-forward techno, with explorations into the spaces in and outside of those realms.
